theyre not too short I think 48s are standard for short bed dudes....but yea shock placement on the link plays a big part for that application since your wiggle room is smaller

I'm usually on point so it's a 'thrill' (if you will) to go fast but know at every corner, every hill there is a utv or bicycle or hiker coming at ya. I do drive very conservative for as fast as we do go.

Yea see that's what happens sometimes too...and yes it dangerous but technically everyone is going too fast out there, dirtbikes and utvs go that speed...I see that having a 8 foot wide 5000lb truck requires some responsibility but everyone should really have these thoughts in mind when railing corners in the mountains. I've actually hit another truck head on with mine a few years ago both of us were going too fast around a blind corner......basically have fun when it's safe but be mindful....and if you have other resources available (radios, lookouts) then use em

    Yes
Bro...why would you sell a perfect set of links just because they don’t have drain holes inside the canoe ? Mine don’t either and you just blast them out with a hose ...it’s not like water is going to sit in there and stay ?

Because you live in San Diego
    (Per your info)
And I live on the east coast

There is a lot more issue of water and ice and mud where I live
And in the winter a hose ain’t gonna help much

    And yes
I do understand these are perfectly good links and I’m an idiot for not noticing
But it is a necessary feature for my application

    Yes
So just drill a hole or if you want to be fancy drill a hole and have your fab guy weld a sleeve in, why would you sell those and order new links when it’s a $10 mod to add a drain hole ? That’s just nutty bro ? Just an FYI but any drain hole you put in is just going to get clogged with mud and ice anyway...

Yea they get clogged real easy....best thing to do would be to make a rubber cover that secures to the link(tap some holes in it) and have two holes for the shock shafts

To weld mig or tig inside the trailing arm would be an impressive weld
I already asked a handful of welder/fabricators and they all basically said nope
If they didn’t come with them you don’t add them

You need to find some better fabricators. Pm me for a price and I’ll give you a money back guarantee for a failure caused by adding the drain.
