I’m pulling the trigger on suspension this week. All these posts about ome coils sagging 6 months in has me concerned. What is the best alternative (price wise) to the 5100/ome setup? Are the Toytec boss setups any good?
    I want 2” up front and 1 - 1 1/2 in rear.

I’d go fox but I don’t know if they’d be worth it since I don’t Offroad much.

Check out Dobinson’s suspension there’s a thread talking about them. I’ve enjoyed mine so far after 3-4K miles. I love the teal color. Can get the shocks and coils in black if that’s your thing.

3/2” lift. Shocks, coils, UCA and Leaf packs.

Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
I have said this a few times but I have 5100s on 4th perch and a 1 inch rear block and 265/70/17s and compared with my neighbors taco he has 5100s on OME 888's. Both trucks are long beds but he has an off road. The ride and drive is nearly identical. Oh he is on his second set of springs and he may have switched the out again. I think he is looking for some factory sport springs.

I ended up ordering the Eibach pro truck kit and wheelers 3 leaf aal. I spoke with I think Steven at wheelers and he was super helpful. I’ve had Eibach sportlines on my mustang for 10+ years and have had zero issues.
The kit has a million mile warranty and an anti sag guarantee.
Should net 2” in front and 1- 1.5 in rear.
I’ll let u guys know how it turns out.

Bilstein 6112 / 5160 with a 3 leaf AAL. You still raise the perch but you get a much better shock.

    EDIT:

I see the OP has already decided and bought a setup.

I still appreciate the input. If this thread has taught me anything, this won’t be the last suspension setup this truck sees lol

I also have been noticing a number of people claiming their OME’s sagged so I went with the Dobinson 488r 3” springs with 5100’s in the front and 5160’s with the Icon 3 leaf pack out back. CC50F10F-9690-43E2-84FF-7E263409A7F4.jpg

This is the setup I went with. I was leaning toward the 5100s though. Talked to a shop, and wanted to be able to handle sliders and bumper (approx 300 lbs) of constant load plus whatever else I feel like doing and they recommended the 6112/5160s.

Just installed a Dobinsons setup. 3" front and rear along with the Upper Control Arms. I had the Fox TRD Pro setup, the ride in this is a little more stiff which I thought the Fox was too soft anyway. Feels good in highway and potholes. Havent taken off road yet but planning on it soon.20190725_114752.jpg 20190725_114807.jpg 20190725_115102.jpg
