I wanna bring back mini trucks then. There's a couple of these down the street from me and they look great. Makes me wanna get one for just cruising around.

not enough ways to agree with this. I have a particular soft spot for Ford Couriers and the early Rangers. I love my Tacoma, still feels like the T100, too big.

    Now back to the topic...
Not in SoCal but it was interesting enough for me to snap some pics of this pre-runner superlift.

Definitely.. Because you know, driving around with a couple hundred pound RTT at all times makes total sense. How else do you let the world know you spent $2,000 on a tent.

This kills me. I have one and it comes off once I'm done camping. I don't get these guys that drive around with every last piece of equipment still mounted.

My wife calls the Tacoma my man-purse (edit: first aid kit, tools, fire extinguisher, etc, not rtt and all the fixins for glampin). I feel naked w/o my truck and "stuff" but yea, crazy weight because lazy? social media junkie? both? Think of the extra gas, brakes, tires, etc that has to eat on lugging it all around. don' get it

Never know when you'll need those rotopax in the city. My mileage already sucks. I couldn't imagine what the guys that cruise around with cab height racks and tents get. It's like driving against the wind with a sail up.

Yea, I don't even have the roof rack on because it drags so bad. It goes on when needed and hangs from some eye bolts above the truck.

Ugh, that's a no-win...hopefully you'll get a place where you can hang your hat and RTT.
