    Saw a post of some Jeeps in water and some text saying they closed a trail. Everyone is so fkn outraged, yet no one has any actual evidence of this trail closing. Gawd this is why I hate overland communities. Everyone on those FB pages is such a high horse asshole but when someone actually asks for some sources it's dead silent. This overland page didn't even spell the name of the trail correctly.

    Sorry, rant over.

    Washing Trail Association knew nothing about this incident or this trail closing. When I called they thought I was checking wildfire status. I had to explain everything and they said they knew nothing about it.

    Post merge: If they are indeed lying, you don't have to make up some story about the trail being closed to get your point across. What those Jeeps was wrong, but by spreading fake news they're no better than the Jeeps. imo.

    Update: Heard back from a local, this group was indeed lying, and the trail remains open
