Buy a suppressor and see which one you get first

I've never had good luck with their shipping...always 2-3 week lead time.

Does anybody around here have a need for white 2nd gen fender flares or some 1” Bora wheel spacers? Since they’re not in my way, and I don’t really need the money, I won’t do any kind of “for sale” thread. I just figured I would let some local TW peeps know they are available.

How many wheel spacers do you have? If 4 and cheap enough I’ll take them.

Got it all set up with a new 300 BLK PSA upper, ordered Wednesday, at my door Friday. Shot it this morning and it’s awesome. But while it cycles fine it will not lock BCG backwith an empty mag. Thinking maybe the buffer spring is too heavy? Open to ideas.

That means the system in under gassed. What type of buffer you have in there right now?

That’s what I thought but was hoping PSA set it up right. Budget upper though so maybe asking too much. Don’t know about the buffer. It’s what I had in there when I was shooting 5.56, never had issues

I would look into getting a lighter spring and/or buffer. You will be able to run it with your 5.56 upper as well. It will be a little over gassed but it is better to be a little over gassed than under gassed if using both uppers on the same platform.

A little excited..My vacation in October is approved! Going to see family in dusty ol’ Oklahoma. If it rains it turns into a mudfest so it could get interesting? Just dropped the bow off for a tune up and new strings! Yes it will be archery season and they make some big ol’ bucks out there if I get lucky enough to have one walk by just right..

I had an 8 pointer in my yard yesterday along with 4 doe. They just looked at me while I was walking around working on the truck.:notsure:

They like to eat off the blueberry bush. I have no intentions of ever killing any of them.

Not necessarily it could have too stiff a spring or wrong buffer for the shortened gas system.
Take the buffer and spring out and check and see what ones you have in there then mess around with them from there trying lighter buffer or spring. After that play with them some and go from there. Let me see if I can dig up some charts for you. If you can try and get the size of the gas port. I am not up to snuff on using a normal length buffer tube with a pistol all I have are the shorties with completely different spring and buffers specifically for pistols. You have just dove down the black hole of the AR platform it's almost as bad as these trucks.

Also contact PSA and see what they would recc. for buffer and spring with what you are running.

So it turns out the gas block was slightly off center. So it was undergassed. I took it apart and fixed it and now seems to have eliminated the problem with my PMAGs but does not lock back with steel mag. I have a lot more PMAGs than steel so I guess I'll be fine for now. May experiment with some buffer spring weights down the road.
