Anyone have a suggestion on a fix or what exactly the issue is?
The symptoms occur incrementally during song playback on Bluetooth. Gets annoying, especially at night. Tested as well with friends IPhone, same issue.
Does not happen with radio or xm. Updated iPhone, but same issue of screen/display flash/blink still occurs. Music does not get interrupted. Leaning toward calling the dealer.

I have noticed that when i have my headlights turned ON (not with the "auto" setting) and its still semi light outside, the brightness of the screen changes if i go under an underpass, big tree, or something like that. Seems like the light sensor is still working and adjusts the brightness of the interior screens based on the light. Today was cloudy and rainy in LA and I had my headlights ON because the auto setting would not turn them on, i guess it thought it was still daylight out. Anyways, anytime i went under an overpass, big tree, or something that make it slightly darker the screens would dim for maybe 5 seconds then come back up to full brightness. I wonder if this is whats happening to you? Maybe go into the settings and set the screen to either Day or Night mode and see if that fixes it.

is it only in the part of the display that shows song information? for me, I have the home screen set to map on one side and music on the other, and the music side "refreshes", or kind of blinks out and back in, like 2-3 times per song. same when music is full screen. It's like it refreshes the album art information multiple times. on an iPhone XS

i got sick of it and went 3 panels on my homescreen. smallest media area doesn't have album art and I don't notice it then. otherwise it distracts me while i drive.

Good call. I'll do that for now at least.

Have you tried to get the dealer to fix it under warranty?

I personally just think that either entune or apple's communication stack is to blame here. If i had to guess i'd assume they all probably do it. it might be fixable by either an iOS update or an entune update.

I recently got a free 6 months for apple music and discovered that I only have this problem when using Spotify - don't know why I didn't think to try this 6 months ago, lol. What music app are you using on your phone when you have this issue?

At the time, I was using Apple Music. I've since switched to a Samsung phone, and spotify on there hasn't had the issue, that I've noticed.
