Good for you! I have a soft spot; my old man was an art teacher for 35 years in CB, and I ended up as an art major in undergrad.

No kidding? One of the other art teachers there was my dad's student and athlete back in high school. Small world. Then again, this is the PA thread!

Yup! I remember him coming around occasionally when I was on the team (way back when). Yes, I also had my old man for a teacher and a coach...

His work came highly recommended for a HC rear bumper, so in a couple of weeks I am also going to make the 4 1/2 trip to his shop to get some fab work done. Hopefully that will be the kick i need to get some other items of the build moving.

These holes in the front of the beds... what's with that? Seems like a perfectly great way to encourage rust. Mine is rusted as cheese around those spots and I can't help but think its a dumb design. Has anyone plugged/capped them with say metal and screws. Opinions? Considering buying a replacement bed and would seal that up while off the truck.

    I think I might need some anti-anxiety medicine tonight:drunk:

He's seem to have that affect on quite a few people. One became a pro triathlete, several are art teachers, some book illustrators, PSU head track coach, list goes on. I coached for awhile as well so I guess I can add myself to the list. Good teachers really do have a great influence on people! We should give them more props.

Ok I guess if that’s the best you can do I’ll take it.

I’ll bring you some uncooked meat or some beer or something.
