Not yet....looking for one....it has to be one you can drive through....sit stil, it takes 10-15 seconds then the water poured in. Discovered by accident after a day at the beach.

Most gas stations and self wash car washes have those. It’s not hard to find. It is starting to sound like you are looking for favorable situations to create your leak.

Why not go back through the dealer wash. If it’s that big of an issue (only takes 10-15 seconds of water?!) then any car wash or even a garden hose should replicate the issue. Then look for the cause and seal it OR continue with your litigation.

Got it....the bigger issue in my head is why Toyota cannot fix it? Like I said...if I knew I was buying a vehicle that as an inherent, non repairable issue, I wouldn't of bought it...geez...its a Toyota not a Dawoo They put snorkels on the tacos..what is that for? Driving to Sunday school?

I'd ask to take it through their carwash and see for yourself.

The snorkel is a "desert air intake" has nothing to do with going through water.

I swear I had stumbled across an excellent blog post written when someone went through the lemon law process, but I can't find it now.

I did find this short write up of someone else going through the process:

Has nothing to do with the intake....Toyota has a great reputation, that's the reason I purchased. One would think, given said reputation of the truck there would be a reasonable expectation of taking it to the carwash of choice without the worry of water intrusion....maybe its just me and $40K just doesn't buy that level of comfort.

Could just be the angle or level of pressure in that one area in that one car wash. Doesn’t mean the truck is defective.

Everyone still has the same question... do other car washes cause this issue or just THAT ONE?
