I had a case where I found material in a passenger seat that I got an upholster to transfer to a worn driver side seat. The seats were not interchangeable, but he seamed in the fabric so it was barely noticeable. That all depends on the skill and willingness of the upholster doing the job.

If you go to an upholstery shop that specializes in auto and not home furniture, they should be able to look up that fabric, as someone stated.

I was able to fine only 1 shop out of about 9 that I tried, that took the time to look up the leather for a 1997 BMW 840ci. They were able to order the exact same leather from whoever they ordered it from. Once the drivers two front seats were finished, they looked EXACTLY like the leather in the rear seats. Those two seats cost me $1500. But it was worth it for that vehicle.

I’m sure Toyota fabric would be much cheaper. And like you say, maybe you can find the whole seat at a junkyard. Good luck whichever way you end up going.

These are the 2 part numbers. They are in fact discontinued. I will look for you. I have a feeling someone does make them.

I would have to disagree with you on your statement. I've been looking for a bottom seat cover in oak for my '99 Tacoma (SR5, 4x4, V6) since last year. The covers have been out of production for a number of years and the various fabrics used to make the cloth seat covers have seemed to have disappeared or have been stockpiled someplace that I do not know about. I do wish you the best of luck and if you find the exact fabrics that are in the Detroit Book, please let us know.

See links. They still make them for 1998+ models. Maybe blue is now called the Moon Mist?

Perhaps the part numbers were changed?

That may or may not be available. This is the part that I'm looking for and it appears to be unavailable and discontinued:

That's in oak which is what I'm looking for, not in moon mist.

Thank you. Toyota Parts Estore website states they have both back and bottom, so I ordered them. I received a confirmation of order E-mail from them but nothing else after both calling and e-mailing/them.
So I assume they don't actually have them. They could at least let me know. They have my order and payment info.
