I'm cool with 9:30. Also.... to clarify the meet time is that the schedule "leave Lowes" time or when everyone should be there to check in? I only ask because if we have 40+ vehicles that need to rape Shell.. if we make it 9:30 then people should realistically start arriving by at least 8:30 if we are leaving at 9:30.

Also, as with any back country road/adventuring I think most people agree you should always leave on a full tank of gas even if you "can" make it. You never know if a downed tree or two, washed out section of road, something that might force you to take a 100+ mile detour may turn up... better prepared than sorry.

A couple of days before the event, I will PM each member planning on attending and ask them for their phone number (if they are willing to give it out). I will print out 40+ copies of everyone's TacomaWorld name, real name and contact phone number. FOR THOSE READING THIS, PLEASE PM ME YOUR PHONE NUMBER or... would anyone like to hep me collect the phone numbers??

It'll stay 9:30. People would be wise to arrive by then and get gas, check tire pressures, all that stuff. Once the clock hits 10, we are leaving no ifs, ands or buts.

Before we leave, we will each take the hand-out contact list and then identify who has radios and who doesn't. Those with radios will break up in anticipation of the group being segmented. Chances are, I will need 5-7 leaders to help out (potentially being - Alex, Taylor, Cliff, Scott, Kris, Adam, etc)

Before we leave, we will also determine the radio channel that we will be on.

Before we leave, I will also give everyone a brief of what is going on, why we are doing it, what happens in the event of an accident/ incident and I will remind everyone that on the I-17 on the way up... that there is no reason to drive like a nutso as we will stick out like a sore-thumb.

Before we leave, I will also hand out maps - however generic they may be. In fact, perhaps someone can create the maps for me. ??????

Also, so I take it the final destination is Prescott... do we want to find/setup a place to reserve for lunch? I could map that out as well. Also I take it from that point everyone is free to go where ever they wish... I can map out a few few routes (default hwy to I-17, the back more scenic road to Wickenburg, and perhaps an alternate return route through Crown again if anyone wants to go back that way?)

If you have the time, feel free to map out a few routes. I assume that most people will be hungry and want to eat in Prescott, but there's no point in making people eat where they dont want to... so, it's basically a free roam once we get to Prescott.

Those who have CB radios will need them to be tuned in order talk. Scott I know you can hear people but can't talk to them, maybe we should get together before the meet to make sure everything is working right. That offer stands for anyone with a CB that isn't tuned, I'm willing to help you out.

Andy, Josh now has a CB just FYI.

Just a bunch of old crap
My CB arrives this week so I'll work to have it tuned before the meet. The antenna I got is tunable.

I'm more interested in installing the PA speaker under the hood so I can start yelling "la migra!" when I pass a Home Depot.

I'm just bringing my "gatt" for snakes or wildebeast. No target practicing for me. I'm trying to recruit a few more Tucson Tacoma's but I'm hoping to be rolling in my standard PreRunner Sport. Will my (more) street tires be a problem on this trail? I'm all stock? If it's no problem, you can count my ass in like flynn.

This sounds like a sick ride and I'll be switching seats so that I can do some Photo shooting too Cmack.
