I'll get a walkaround of the truck uploaded on YouTube soon. Right now I'm still messing with my taillights as I wait for some random bolts to come in.

I need a 5 wire to 4 wire conversion box as well as the trailer light harness to work together and I’m not sure if that’s as simple as I think it is.

Number 13 is a piece of thin type strap metal formed to that shape and bolted with the hook to act as a security for keeping the rope loop or winch hook or whatever up against that toe hook, keep it from falling out of position. The other side that has the oval hole cutout it looks like, actual vehicle not on diagram, is a tie down point for transporting them on the trailers. Not sure if you can add a second hook or not. Not sure of there are existing captive nuts to work with or what. Oh and the bolts holding the hook likely have like 90 ft/lbs of pressure so the bolts are on there pretty damn tight. If you're using a ratchet, if recommend a fixed breaker bar for the socket instead of ratchet, use a piece of pipe or similar to slide over the ratchet handle to give you an extended ratchet handle and really allow you to get some leverage on to the bolt. I'm sure there are videos on the youtubes of something similar if you need more of a visual

Yeah, same thing. That's normal. Normal vehicles only have the eyelets, but the Tacoma has that hook too.

Why you buying new hooks? You can just unbolt them and sand them. Then go buy new grade 8 bolts

What is a Grade 8 bolt?
A grade 8 bolt is stronger than the more commonly used grade 5. It is made of alloy steel and has six radial lines on the top of the bolt head. Grade 8 bolts have a tensile strength of 150,000 pounds per square inch.

it looks very similar on the driver side, just missing the hook, it has bolts in it already
