Pro Tip - Definitely pull the two bottom bolts that hold the fender on so that you can pull it out to make room for tightening the nuts and fitting the hose.

Went to open my passenger door yesterday and the f'ing thing hit the snorkel tube, I was like WTF??

The bolts on the neck that hold it to the A-pillar I guess got a little loose over time, since those holes are slotted the bolts slid down some and messed with it's alignment. Easy fix but freaked me out for a minute.

I think the problem was that I used a screwdriver to tighten those screws, not realizing at first that the screws have hex heads that you can put a socket on. Tightened them yesterday with a socket instead and got them on there much tighter. No red loctite...at least not yet lol

Happened to me too...well, the previous owner took it off for whatever reason. Probably thought it restricted airflow to the supercharger or something. I got one off another member on here, I don't know if anyone in this thread will have one for you since most of us are here cause we installed the same snorkel. Might try asking in the B/S/T forum though

Nice, ya I was so bummed when I went to install the snorkel and found that piece missing lol. Drove around for a couple weeks with a pretend snorkel on my truck because I couldn't connect it without that tube.

So I was at my local Toyota Stealership a few months back and they had this one parked out front. I guess Toyota likes the idea of snorkels. 20190530_160117.jpg 20190530_160108.jpg 20190530_160125.jpg 20190530_160057.jpg 20190530_160053.jpg

Looks to wavy and shaped like a leech, don't care for it being above the roof line either
