I always thought it was related to the tire casing. I have a new quart of stans that was bought recently and my maxxis exo aggressor sweats sealant on the sidewall, but my Double Down DHF 2.5 on the front doesn't and both have the same sealant in the same volumes. So I suspect it's either the casing or the fact that the rear wheel get it's sidewalls rubbed on rocks etc more often then the front.

I was wondering that too but the wear didn’t look much worse. I’ll keep an eye on it though. I just put a new aggressor on too so we will see

I use green slime on my 2 bikes and it causes sweating on maxxis highrollers on rear tire only , but no issues on the front tire and both Minion DHR's on other bike

I've been racing on either Stan's Crest or Arch Mk3 for years now with zero issues. My 27.5+ is laced with WTB i35 Asym though...

Edit: Stan's wheels laced to i9 Torch and Asym to Hope Pro II

What is your budget? Lower end stuff, the Stan's are great, higher end, check out NOX composites.

Just saw your budget from above.....

I would suggest some nice hubs laced to some Stan's ARCH hoops. The Arch hoops have been really reliable and held true. Quick engaging rear hubs make a huge difference over stock. In my opinion, a better rear hub is one of the biggest improvements you can make on a bike.

I think he was referring to the bike on the passenger side in this pic.

Well, thanks to Pinterest, I figured out a bike storage strategy that fits the space provided, and cost me <$20. :bananadance:

The pipe plus all those fittings <$20 ... you must have had some of it lying around? I can’t go to Home Depot without spending $100-200.

It was $2.85x3 for the pipe, $3 for a 10 pack of elbows and like $8 for 2 10 packs of t fittings
