Morimoto XB headlights or Projector retrofit is the best way to go. I have a set of headlights being retrofitted at the moment. BHLM and RX350 projectors. You'd be okay with a good HID kit from Morimoto in your stock projectors. Better than stock for sure. DON'T DO LEDS, THEY HAVE NO THROW!

Would love to see crash's numbers from an RX350 projector as everyone always says they are the best. I know you mentioned trying them crash, is that in the works?

Crash did compare the Morimotos XB headlights to Phillips H9 bulbs in the stock low beam projectors and output was nearly the same. Saved me over a thousand bucks!

I am so thrilled he did this review. I've been saying these wont amount to more than an aesthetics mod since they teased them and refused to release any beam pattern or projection output pictures. To all the rabid fanboi haters insisting I was wrong: Toldjaso!

No plans at this time, unless someone local has an RX350 or the retros that would like to come over for some measurements. My parents have one, but live on the other side of the state.

So i just read up to page 45 and I've finally given up. From what I've read I am leaning towards the Hella H9's in low beams/ high beams or the GE +130' H11's in the low beams and call it good. My question is, since the H11's and the H9's slide right in to the stock assembly, has anyone had to do any adjustments? Thanks in advance.

Only adjustment I had to do was trim a part of the bulb so it'd fully seat in the socket. But I got Phillip's H9's, not Hellas. I only did the low beams and have not done any alignment.

Thanks, read quite a few pages (45 to be exact lol) and don't think i saw any mention of having to do an alignment after using the H9's for low beam or the GE +130 H11s. Didn't think you would have to with the H11's since they are the same type of bulb.

I did the Phillips H9 in the low beams. Adjusted the beam higher since they are low from the factory.

See the output chart in post #2. All info is updated in posts #2 & 3 so there is no need to read all the pages. Best H9 is Philips, best H11 is the GE Xenon +120, which is a bit better than the +130.

I found there are so many different LEDs for option on Amazon, eBay. Who can tell me which one is better? Morimoto, Auxbeam, OPT7, GTR, LASFIT, CougarMotor, Hikari, Alla, Sealight...

They all suck in our headlights. Use the ones quoted above don’t fall for the marketing of any of those Amazon or eBay or any LEDs. Every bit of research in this thread proves this as fact. We are trying to tell you they all suck.

Listen to this man who did the study he did this all out of pocket and has no skin in the game. He did all the testing of all the top brands and they all failed to throw light. Whether cheap or expensive all came up short.

Go for that, that’s awesome you should look at trying to score the Meso customs map and dome led lights for your interior.
