    It is so tough, because they can't tell you that they are in so much pain. Definitely get your vet's opinion, and know that you are making a choice out of your love for her. It's so hard to let the good ones go, but we also get to help them not suffer any more.

    Don't mean to sound like the reaper...my wife kept holding on and holding on to our lab, and he was in so much pain. The vet told us we should have come long before it got as bad as it was...he wasn't walking and then the appetite, and then he would eat and throw up after that...

    Sorry, man. As soon as I saw our Catahoula stumble and fall, shaky legs trying to get back up, I knew it was time. My wife had seen it before, I was just being oblivious on purpose I think. He was the sweetest.

    Last 2 girls, knew it was time... shadow just panted all the time and hadn't moved for hours and Ollie just looked miserable- she wouldn't move and was just hanging her head. Hated doing it, but couldn't let them suffer any longer.

    She still wants to walk, and doesn't cry when getting up, so she has a little time left, but I know it's coming. Plus she sleeps a lot


    Poor baby. Sorry for the decision you have to make.

    Hopefully Sebastian learned his lesson.

    Took Mishka about 1 1/2 years before she stopped eating dirt, wood, plastic, shoelaces... a whole lot of vomit was cleaned up, and when it made it all the way through, picking up turds used to be a "SMH adventure".
