I haven't had a beer in years. My go to are the moscow mules! Some places offer pineapple or raspberry versions too... absolutely delicious lol.

 

I love beer too much to give it up. It's a blessing and a curse There's something just oh so very satisfying that only a nice, heavy, stout can provide. Or a nice crisp and clean IPA. Dammit now I want beer but its only 10am

 

I’m not a mix drink person because of the sugar. Most things are excessive on the sweet. I do like an occasional pina colada tho. Extra Sailor Jerry

Mostly I’m all beer and some bourbon and red wine.

 

Kentucky mules are the shit. Until you look at how much sugar is in a ginger beer

 

I’ve developed a Hiatal Hernia with all this heavy lifting over the past few years. The only bad side effect from it is that I now get bad acid reflux from beer. I didn’t love beer before so no love lost. My wife has celiac and can’t drink beer anyway so we both just drink cider but I prefer a mixed drink. My go to is Vodka Soda with 2 Limes

 

My go to is whiskey and coffee mixed with spaghetti and syrup + m&ms

Btw started the whole back/bi, chest/tri, legs, off, repeat routine and holy shit lol. I’m way more tired and sore now than the bro split workout I used to do.

Who’s interested in starting a weekly check-in for this thread. Everyone interested can post a starting pic, weight, macros, and goals. Once per week we report back to each other. There’s enough knowledge in this thread to provide a lot of useful feedback. If nothing else, the accountability will help.

I’ve went waaaaaay off the wagon the last 6 weeks or so. Packed on a lot of fat where I was so deep in a cut them went full blown fuck-it. Time to buckle down.

Let me know who’s in and I’ll make a list and start this thing.

So the Golds I have been going to for 6 years just closed. I am going to start to working out in my garage. So far I have 2 barbells with 400 pounds of weight, a squat rack, adjustable bench, and a pair of 50 pound and 70 pound dumbbells. Who else lifts in their garage and what other equipment do you have? I do have mats under the squat rack but I am thinking of building a dead lift platform. Not trying to go crazy, just looking to see what I could add without breaking the bank.

 

I still read. I mainly just come to troll now. I don’t even lift.
