Take them back to the company who tinted your windows ... they'll remove the "old" and get you legal with a lighter tint.

They removed mine when I went darker .... but I am old and don't drive drawing attention to myself ..... [IMG].

The op was asking for an easy way to remove the tint and you come back with " you deserve a ticket".

Don't you have your windows tinted?

Depends on the cop down here. One time there was a State Trooper standing on the median on the On Ramp directing people to pull over because of their tint, i bet it was like shooting fish out of the barrel for him.

Gotta love AZ. I have had limo tint on so many cars and never once got a ticket. Pulled over tons of times, too.

    It's a cliche'

And a bad one at that.

jp is correct that NAZI is a political party...although the party in it's day had one helluva "enforcement" team :(

sadly, the term NAZI is thrown around with such ignorant abandon...most don't even know the meaning. I bet there are not 3 members here under the age of 35 who even know what NAZI means...what the party stood for...and what their agenda was (without google)

    National Socialist Worker's Party.

You mean their agenda on paper or in practice? They were two very different things.

    No google on this.

Anyway, getting back to the thread topic: You had illegal tint. You got a ticket. You'll need to get the tint off, get photographic proof of the fix. What you decide to do with your tint after that is up to you.

But, you pay to play. You have non-street-legal mods on your vehicle, you don't get to whine when you get ticketed.

Hell I say don't pay the ticket just have the cops stand you up beside your truck on the highway while other cars are driving by and shoot you.....that way you could be an example to the rest of us....:headbang:

If it were me I'd call the folks that tinted the window for you and ask them the best way to take off the tint...of course if you have full coverage insurance and the window cracked from a rock thrown from a passing vehicle:eek: it might be easier to make a claim for a new windshield. Taking tint off is a serious pain in the ass.....:p

Actually, technically it's: National Socialist German Worker's Party.

    However I'm still impressed for a 26 y/o.

You either, A) attended private school...B) have wise parents...C) have a college education...or D) you study world history as a hobby or professionally.

    Good on you.
