How long ago were you a SMI? We had a few good ROTC cadre across the branches, and some not so great ones as well.

 

12’. Second to last assignment before I retired in 15’.

 

I tried out for the VT rugby team. Push ball was far worse.

Don't knock Quidditch until you try it. They had the ACC regionals at Tech when I was there and they challenged us to put our money where our mouthes were. It's pretty hard to run with a broom handle between your legs (it's normal for me )

 

Ever hear of a William Culpepper? Think he was an SFC when he was one of the Tech cadre, had a pretty loyal following.

 

Nope. I was east coast (2 BDE) so mostly knew those guys.

Why not wear the wizard robe and hat WHILE playing rugby?

 

My college rugby team tried to recruit me because I was a fast sprinter. I was a 5-11' thin, so basically they wanted me to spring up the sideline until I got flattened. Yeah nope, did not want to get injured during ski racing season. Had a bit of fun for two days, good folks, but some of those big guys just flattened me.

 

This thread sucks. I'm heading over to the Asshole Parking thread. At least there is a chance I might see my truck there.
