Some places say 23 hp. Some places say 25 hp. I'm not gonna fuss over 2 hp. Lol. Tractor does what I need it to.

Nice haul. I'm going to try and get out this weekend. Haven't fished in a couple weeks.

The water pump replacement killed me. Took forever to remove that damn radiator. Not as bad getting it back in. I had to disconnect a lot of hoses and almost remove the overflow reservoir. I left the bottom bolt in and swung it outward to be able to tilt the shroud forward so I could kick the bottom of the radiator towards the back so that the bottom drain would clear the shroud. Poor design. Once I had the radiator out and the fan off the rest was a breeze, including the thermostat.

After I got this done the oil change and the tranny fluid change was a piece of cake. Even removing and cleaning the tranny filter screen was pretty easy. I followed the directions on that video and it really paid off.

Now I did run out of time so I didn't get to the fuel filters or the front axle but I will knock those out this Saturday or Sunday. Then I am good for another 100 hours. Oddly, when I looked, I was right at 300.1 hours. I never check it. That comes out to only 50 hours a year.

But just changing the oil, tranny, radiator (including draining the block) and I can immediately hear a difference. My tranny fluid looked great but it smelled a little off.

Oh, go to Walmart and buy their oil drain catcher. It is 23 quarts and only like 14 bucks. It will fit between the wheels fine and allow you to open everything at once on the tranny (plug, filter and screen).

Edit - Oh, and again, I saved well over $250 doing just the maintenance. I bet I save close to another $200 doing the water pump replacement myself.

Mine (with the implements) cost as much as a small Hyundai but it runs like a champ! I dog the shit out of it too. I push the limits on it all the time. Haven't flipped this on over or caught it on fire yet (like I did with two other JD's I had).

Love too but work most Saturdays and Sunday usually spent with family. If I get to hangin’ with y’all my wife will regret ever buying a Tacoma and I would probably have to rent a spot in your garage Dave for a place to lay my head! Thanks for the invite, means alot to me. I’ll make it up someday :)

When you decide to come up bring the wife. My wife is usually always there with me. It's a nice drive.

Got a buddy just over the line in Needmore Pa. Been hunting up there a few times. Nice area and cheap real estate too. Just a hell of a drive to the District. I think he’s 110 miles one way!

I'm 120 one way from my driveway in Baltimore to my driveway at the cabin. I'm racking up miles on my ole 4runner. I looked at cabins in PA but the property taxes were higher compared to WV.

Yeah. Too hot for me. All of the "known" spots are complete chaos on the weekend. I stay away. I don't have customers to satisfy.

    Bayside Toyota

Oh the water pump looks like you have to take a lot apart to get to. I got a while until I do that (see: years at this rate), but I'll call you when it's time. :D
