This guy was on camera last year, and he gained more headware this year..Just went out and put some feed out, and pulled my card outta the camera. 620 pics later, theres this guy(odd 8 point), a NICE 8, and a small 5...Looking at the size of the rack, and the size of the body, he looks like hes got a tiny body.

Im leading to believe he either got hit by a car, or shot sometime along the way..Leading to the weird rack

That's plausible, or may be it's just bad genetics too. I guess you know if it's the latter if you start seeing bucks with a similar rack in the future.

Cool looking buck, any injury can affect a deer's antler growth he could have dont anything and gotten a defect, if his rack was like that last year then it is genetic.

agreed..Still undecided about what kinda mount id do for this one..Its such a unique rack, it would almost be a shame to NOT shoulder mount it.

But on the other hand, if I see him early in the season, hes not all puffed out from the rut, and he'd look kinda silly with that small neck as a shoulder mount.

Ive been thinking about this since the first time I saw him:D

I honestly hope my dad gets a shot at him thou:)
