yes the tubes sound obviously different but so does 2.0 on its own a bit. the 3500rpm surge doesn't exist but is opened into providing power from lower rpm, and that does change the sound a bit (on my exhaust).

I'm curious if or how you can explain how your exhaust sounds. Any sound clips?

I love my NA imports, but they just sound nasty with open flowing exhaust. I would like to do Y pipe/secondary delete and a catback, but fear bad drone and to much noise.

funny you ask, I've had a few requests for sound clips but never could work it out. i have a nice mic though, and I'm gonna try this weekend to get some good ones if possible. i should also have the high flow catted dump tubes installing maybe next week. sound will change again.

That's OK. I'm only interested in outside sound clips. Drive by.. Fly by.. Normal accelerating. etc.

Actually if you have front oe cats on now, and rears deleted, that's sound clip I'm looking for. Thanks in advance!

I have some posted somewhere on this board with the URD Y pipe cat delete and a flowmaster dual outlet system w/resonator. Don't have time to search and repost at the moment. There is one from the exterior posted in the Montana Tacomas thread page 624 2nd post.

Front cats still in place,URD Y pipe/cat delete 18"x 2 1/2" spiral louvered glasspack as a resonator in front of the Flowmaster "American Thunder" dual outlet cat back system. Dump tubes ordered July 1st IIRC waiting eagerly for shipment and to install w/2.0

right on. i tried to fit an 18" glasspack before my Vibrant which is before the muffler, but it wouldn't fit. so i put in a second Vibrant and that worked great. did you buy the catless or catted tubes? and do you have 2.0 yet?

Catless tubes and no 2.0 yet :( I am hoping he release a 2.0 version of the 1.05 91 BFO "fat boy" test tune.
