Favorite Whiskey?

Love the 1792. But never had the Full Proof. It appears you're quality checking all the bottles?

Pulling them down past the neck to let them breath? I do that with most of my Bourbons.

But especially the 1792. Really opens up the smell and the flavor. Way more than some of the others.

 

I went back to grab a EHT today and they were put on hold by someone else

Couldn't get back there yesterday to grab them. Oh well, saved me some money

 

and keeps all these vultures on here at bay...

I love the Stryker, one of my favorite American single malts in the 100 proof range. It's seriously bbq whiskey, and a good excuse for a 4th episode in the BBQ whiskey pairings series with the WC! I need to go back and watch the other episodes, but Stryker definitely deserves a spotlight... maybe even Ardbeg An Oa and Laphroaig 10 CS if y'all haven't done those yet.

That's Terry, back there. One of the few guys I'd let cook a brisket for me .

 

I just drank a bunch of tequila.

 

Started with Spice Tree then had some moose (Caribou Crossing). Currently smoking/offset BBQing a ribeye that's so big it's really a roast. Unfortunately it's about 100f outside...

 

Going to sip on some rock hill farms tonight

 

Sometimes BBQ and whisky DON'T mix... Oh MG does it hurt!
