traded in my 2nd gen for a 3rd gen. :frusty:

The TSB ECU updates have made it less painful.

I bet you’re the only who notices it. As a contractor little imperfections sometimes drive me nuts, but then I realize nobody ever pays attention to that much detail.

Joining this site was a bad financial decision every time i think of something for my truck lo and behold yall have 10 write ups on it.
I definitely have more money in accessories than i paid for my truck.

Few years back I saw a OR buried to the bumper on the beach. Thought to myself..."self" those Tacomas suck in sand.

Never found out they made a 2 wheel drive OR version till I joined this site.

I got impatient and bought a 2nd gen when I knew I really wanted a 1st gen. Then I made myself pay off the 2nd gen so it was easier to sell privately instead of trading it in and getting sodomized by a dealership, further prolonging the wait until I could buy the 1st gen I'd been lusting for since they were new. The moral of the story is if you know exactly what you want, hold out until you can get exactly what you want.

Buying a 3rd Gen with an auto for push-button and remote start instead of getting a manual. Going through withdrawal and constantly shifting the auto.

Some buyers might want the OR look and features but, don’t need 4X4 which is the case with me. I never go off road.

Some one took my mirror off on the interstate. I saved a few hundred by buying a cheap replacement on rockauto and then painted it myself. The mirror vibrates and the clear coat is starting to crack. I should have just spent the extra $300ish on an eom one that was already painted
