Yeah its tech. I work in Finance and am shifting to an operations role though (hence the move) in our Austin office.

Trust me nothing you can throw at me will compare to the shit storm I went through living in Los Angeles for years. 2 hour commute each way to go 20 miles to work.

I'm young, happy apartment living downtown near work near my company for a bit. But the average home price in Austin area is $370k compared to Santa Barbara, CA of $1.15M so it's a major improvement.

Hahaha everywhere I've lived is behind the times and full. Amazon is moving into an office next door to mine currently and this is a small vacation beach town. Gonna be a mess.

It was raining, i was sitting on the porch and thought I heard something that i thought i knew. But theres no way because after all, I live a couple blocks off 35 & the 'berg. But i shit you not....
A dude lookin like lil Wayne is riding a damn HORSE down my street. First thought: "ok wtf."
Second thought: "where exactly does one keep a horse around these parts?!"
