Whelp bought a harbor freight jack. Hopefully it last long. Did get the 2 year warranty so i can just trade it in when ever. Even if its the last month of a warranty and i just want a new one before it expires lol

Used to not be allowed to use the 20% coupons on jacks.

I've had the 3 ton Pittsburgh jack and 6 ton stands for a couple years, use them all the time. They work great

The standard 25% store discount they do frequently excludes the jacks and pretty much everything else there worth buying except little things...but the jacks themselves go on sale for 20% off frequently

The 3ton low profile. Was 90$ and had a 1” (19” lift) more of lift then the normal 3ton for 80$.

And a better deal then the 3 ton high reach which is almost 200$ but lifts 24”

I was just there today to grab a puller set. I was amazed at how much their quality has gone up, along with the prices. Grabbed a sweet microfiber drying towel, with packaging obviously aimed at copying griots garage lol. Their prices are starting to get to where its not much cheaper then just buying the name brand stuff.

I was going to get the low profile but it doesn't lift high enough to get my truck off the ground lol. The regular 3 ton jack barely gets the tires off the ground before it reaches it's limit.

Nothing a block of wood can't fix I guess

I also noticed more taiwan made stuff, pliers, sockets etc.

If I wasnt already invested in Milwaukee tools Id give their Bauer stuff a shot. But for hand tools, gearwrench will always be my go to. Love their wrenches and sockets. I like Proto/Blackhawk for ratchets and craftsman for screwdrivers cause I warranty them often lol. I have HF impact sockets, and their pullers/specialty stuff that only gets used once in a blue moon.

Yeah the Bauer line is nice, so I hear...I haven't used any of it. They have the Hercules line too which is pretty much priced the same as the equivalent Bauer stuff, and I have a few Hercules things (impact driver, angle grinder....something else I can't remember). Definitely better quality than their low end Chicago Electric stuff but not as good as the higher end brands at other hardware stores. But for me they work just fine

o_O I was looking at 2 of their jacks and one of them had a lower reach than the regular Pittsburgh.

You know what, it was probably the lighter version aluminum one
