Just got a trd pro 2018, it came with a bedside air compressor, well they removed the spare tire because they mounted the air tank(?) right behind the spare between the bumper. Well this blocks the spot where you can use your axle to lowers the spare. Hence the spare was in the bed.
Any options to get the spare under there? Or how to mount the tire on the roof rack?

How big is the air tank? Got any pictures?

I can take a photo tomorrow but it’s roughly 18inches and centered right on the spare tire axle hole.

Do you need a tank that large? What is your air system set up to do? If you can get away with a smaller tank there are more places that it can fit. There should be some space forward of the rear axle.

It came with this installed. I guess I could replace it but not trying to throw a bunch of money in it the truck yet.

Move the tank. That’s a plumbing job. Two smaller ones give same volume and can tuck anywhere, such as the aft muffler over lay of flank the drive shaft.

Welcome to TW! Sounds like you are going to have to move the air tank.
