Leaving Monday at 4am. Heading from RI to Ohio to visit the NFL Hall of Fame and then heading up to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Pretty stokde. First long road trip in the Tacoma. About 10hr and 670 miles to get there. Doing it hardcore. Driving out there, hitting the hall. Next day Rock and Roll. Weds AM the ride home. Lol, 1300 miles in 3 days. Go Taco!!

Anybody got some good eating place out there? Looking for a nice steakhouse for Tuesday night.

Sounds like a great first road trip. I did my first long road trip in my Tacoma this spring (14 hours each way). Loved every minute of it!

    Stay safe!
    Cheers.

Just heading out! A few mins behind but not too bad. We would love to hot Cedar Point but time is limited. That might have to be a trip with my som when he gets older ad he must be introduced to football, rock and roll and thrill rides. I think that is a rite of passage no? Lol

Thanks for safe wishes and I will have some pics!!!

Go back in last night. Had a fantastic time. The drive was pretty easy. Long, but easy. 640 miles out. Tacoma rode fantastic. My fillups we 19.2, 19.8,20.3,21.8 and 19.8. This was with 2 people and gear going 75-85. Very impressed. Actually floored I got such good mileage.

The NFL HOF was cool. Nice to see the history. The Rock and Roll HOF was fantastic. a LOT of cool shit in there. They had a huge Pink Floyd The Wall section with the headmaster before/after (for those who have seen the movie) and Pink of course. It was a setup they used during The Wall tour. There was so many cool items I don't know where to start. A exhibit of Les Paul. Man that guy was a genius. They had his old Sears radio and his phone he used to amplify his voice. Real cool.

The only down side to the Rock Hall is no photo inside. Ah well. Got some shots to upload soon from the trip.

What a great time. I highly recommend checking both out.

Some cool stuff they had at the NFL Hall were some old footballs. They were huge, but then again they just ran the ball. There was Dempsy's stubby shoe, Thorpes blanket AND dirt. Tons of shoes by people when they did all sorts of things. Dickerson shoe and jersey from his 2100 yd season. Jerry Rices hands from his 100th TD catch. (They had a replica of his hands made with the ceremonial football in them) .

They did have this awesome kiosk where you could sort the inductees by team, year inducted etc. It would show you highlights, bio etc. Pretty cool.

Thanks! Yea, it's all the artists. They have some crazy thing about only people that vista the hall can see thier items. Very lame.

The rock hall was real cool. But they both were in thier own ways.
