It creaks and feels like the real thing too lol. There are a lot of things that we'd need to fix with this house if we owned it. But it is cool to live in a place with some history and character. There are a lot of others in our neighborhood, lot of 100+ year old Victorian homes too

Here’s how I found that fender in the junkyard.

And here is again after washing, clay bar, polishing compound, and wax.

Historical preservation district? They usually control the look so the houses all stay period correct.

You don't want somebody to put up some modern looking vinyl siding and screw up the neighborhood.

I'm not sure there's an official policy regarding it or anything, but the city of Monrovia has a little museum dedicated to all the original homes with information on the history of most of them. It's kind of strange because you'll be on one street and see a bunch of historic craftsman and victorian homes, then the other street is a mix of those and Spanish style, then there will be an apartment complex or two mixed in along with some more modern looking houses. No track homes or anything, at least not in our neighborhood...but it is kind of eclectic lol.

The RTT rack is drying in there haha. I usually work in the garage, but I bought the 10x20 Harbor Freight canopy to park the Tesla under while I use the garage to sandblast paint horns for the next week or so. I give the HOA 3 days before I get a letter for it. It’s huge.

Check the reflection of the fender in the second pic, you can see the underside of the canopy.

Hopefully that fender doesn't look too perfect compared to the rest of the car lol

ARB twin is legit, aired up 4 35" and 1 32" tires in 7~ min before my brand new Walmart hose committed seppuku. Switched the fittings to a PVC HF hose and kept airing people up lol

There’s some scratches on it still from when I wiped it with a floor mat, dumbass move by me. I plan on buffing it more when it’s actually on the car though, this was just to see if there was any other damage under the dirt.

I knew the answer on Final Jeopardy tonight and I screamed so loud at the TV that my buddy came running into the house thinking I was getting killed.

Makes it even more satisfying none of the three of them knew the answer and bet nearly everything.

R.M.S. Carpathia, not the goddamn Lusitania!
