    When will people learn that "NO FIRES" means NO FREAKING FIRES. Was outside earlier today looking at the smoke from the MP97 fire and watched it balloon up pretty quickly. This morning it went from <20 acres to >150 this afternoon, and DCFP said it was >750 a couple hours ago.

    My uncle is up on a fire in Washington (I don’t understand this when his fire team is out of medford) that is 400 acres as of last night. I agree with you people need to learn their limits and if it says no fire it means no fucking fire!!!

    Isn’t it based off danger fire? Relative proximity to populations, structures, etc? Also I think a ton of firefighters are in Alaska currently. It’s a bad situation up there.

    MP 97 was up to 9000 acres around noon, and someone stole a cargo trailer with firefighting equipment in it.
    I am assuming that Myrtle Creek has cancelled the fireworks show tonight for the festival. Heard a cannon earlier, but no fireworks.
