    Rookie question.. going to pull my stock pulley tomorrow and install a 2.8 quick change setup. I got the press tool but unsure about the alignment. Just run the hub until it's flush with the SC shaft?

    No. Use a straight edge and check. About an 1/8th inch past flush. Use a big enough socket to not marr the shaft.

    No. Unfortunately, it doesn't seat quite deep enough that way.
    +1, or I found a pair of washers (I forget the exact size, but they) fit similarly to the socket and you can worry less about seating it too deeply...

    All those gauges, but no HPT...? You know you want do it... :boink:
