Thanks Bro!!!! Appreciate it. Yes they are painted. I’m a car painter , painted them at the shop I work at. I used matte black Imron by Axalta. Very Durable finish.

Thanks man! I bought some decals so I could see how it will look in person before I go all in with it. Should be able to stick em on next week. I’ll roll with it for a while and look to shoot em with paint this fall.

Last question, did you tape them off and paint with the tire on? I’ll probsbly do rattle cans, have read a few posts with decent wheels this way.

Yes I did Paint them with tires on. Just put truck up on jack stands took wheels off. Masked them from and back and refinished them. Lots of masking but worth it in the end for sure. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks Homie. I had a black Ranger back in the day. Nothing looks better when it’s clean than a black rig. Post it up when you’re done!!

Does the 1" look lifted Bree? Are you disappointed?? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it, for 1" of lift.

IMO 1” won’t be enough difference but it won’t hurt. Same effort to do as 2”. On my LB 2” did what I wanted. I also debated only doing 1” but I’m glad I went 2”. A SB might be different tho.

Here are some before and after of mine. I did 1” all the way around and in my opinion really changed the look of the truck. I did 1” to avoid any issues with the needle bearing and what not.

John & @Jake, I agree it looks much better on your truck, especially due to the nicer bigger tires, but doing it all around, does that not leave you with the same complaint of the rake in the front?

Yes I did 1” all the way around because I wanted to maintain that 1” rake front to back. I load the rear every now and then with 400lbs+ and don’t want to get that “bro lean” so whenever I’m hauling heavy loads it just stays leveled essentially.
I attached a picture of how it looked when I had the bed loaded with about 600lbs. Had it not been lifted all around I would’ve had a funky looking truck.

Good point. I don't load mine very often, so this is my concern.

If you don’t load often then the last picture I posted gives you an idea of what to expect with just having the front leveled. Still gives it a different look from stock!
