Washed my Taco today!

Pink wax and some mothers carwash soap! Gotta love the pink wax. you can use it on ANYTHING! windows, chrome, paint, even the black parts that you try to avoid with wax.

Washed mine today too! It's been sitting in my driveway for 4 weeks while I've been on holidays.

Thanks and YES! i have tried both Miguires and Mothers headlight restoration kits. Both work for a few weeks or so but nothing that lasts long enough. any tips?

No sorry. If it were me I'd probably look for used ones or price some new ones (aftermarket or OEM-if available).

 

Make sure those restoration kits include abraisives. If they do, then your results will be permanent. You could also wetsand and polish your headlights they will come out like new.

 

The 3M kit I used was awesome.

And then I just make sure I apply 303 protectant every week to the headlights regardless if I washed the truck.

 

For the cost of doing a few headlight restore kits I got new headlights off eBay.

cool...i had mine for almost 2weeks...haven't washed it yet...see signs of spots...waiting for the rain storm to past by the next day or two..then wash my red taco!
