That's from 2011, doubt it's still valid.

 

I decided to try going to a shoe repair place to have my Lexus wheel touched up. He did what he could, which was a re-dye and polish for the astronomical price of $27 out the door. All in all, it looks great. He couldnt fill cracks or dings but this wheel didnt really have many to begin with. The spot on top where the leather was cracked the worst is now disguised nicely and smooth to the touch. I put my modded button/switch blanks in along with the Rav4 airbag, and I think it turned out great.
Im gonna wait a few days before I install it, as the leather dye is still off gassing and stinks a bit.

 

Looks great. I have a 28-year-old Infiniti with the original leather wheel that still looks great. I periodically use black boot polish on it. Simple and it works.

 

Got my dashcam/backup cam installed. It’s a Pruveeo I got for cheap on OfferUp. Just had to get a extension for the backup cam and a hardwire kit cuz I ain’t rocking the cig lighter power

 

Finally got a day without rain so I washed and waxed the Taco



BTW “waxing the Taco” means different things to different people.

 

Day 3

We explored leisurely before heading back to the truck and continuing on our way through the maze of roads that wound up, around, and through the forest - in and out of trees, across wildflower filled meadows, and to several spectacular viewpoints. Even destinationless and meandering, it turned out to be my favorite part of the trip so far.
