    A thing or two...
Yeah. Those bolts were a bitch. I removed mine when I did the front brake upgrade and torque checked the rear suspension.

Do you guys have any recommendations for a good mechanic to replace a clutch? Mine is finally dying (slips bad in 2nd when towing a trailer) and I'm trying to find a good place that does good work.

Anyone local interested in a great commuter/long distance bike?

    2007 BMW R1200RT - $5500
56,000 miles so just broke in.
Has Gerbings hook up for electric jacket, pants, socks, gloves, etc.
Garmin Zumo GPS mounted to a Migsel billet aluminum dash mount that has spots for two more RAM mounts.
    Touratech engine guards.
    Givi 46L top case.
    BMW model specific tank bag.
    Motolight auxiliary driving lights.
    Z Technik exhaust.
    Power adjustable windscreen.
    Rick Meyers heated riders seat.
    Heated OEM rear seat.
    Heated grips.
    Cruise control.
    Tires are good.
I have Skene Designs P3 lights on the back. Some of the LEDs started going out and he sent me replacements. I have not installed the new ones but will include them.
All the service is up to date. I changed the oil every 3k miles and had George at Beemer Uber Alles do all the other service work.
I have a DVD from Jim Von Baden that walks you through maintenance stuff if you want to do your own work. I had intended to, but was too lazy so I paid George instead.

Very tempting. Maybe if it's still available in a little bit. We're bleeding money getting this condo ready.

Yes. There are several lines of heated motorcycle clothing. I have a cable wired direct to the battery with a coaxial connector that the thermostat plugs into. Dual stat runs gloves and socks separate from jacket and pants. It really extends your riding season to any time other than when ice is on the road. I have ridden in the teens and had to turn the heat down because I was too warm.

Helmet face shield icing up becomes the limiting factor. I considered getting a snowmobile helmet with a heated face shield to solve that.

Literally drove about 1/4 mile down the first green trail easy as fuck in 2wd low, with absolutely no shenanigans and the rear diff broke.
