Well theyre in the back/scattered around the only 4Runner on the Pull A Part Winston Salem yard.

 

Anyone know how long it takes to remove a supercharger from a v6 out of the truck?

 

Yeah those wheels have actually always struck me as good looking wheels, is that what he ended up getting, @BTB?

 

A 96 4Runner 2d just arrived at my nearest PnP. The only Tacos I've seen there are 4 cyl 5 luggers. I think people will keep a Taco rolling any way they can.

I would like to have a 4Runner digital dash clock for mine. I don't know if 4Runner mirrors will fit. Everybody that walks by mine in the garage, brushes up against the mirrors and knocks them out of adjustment. If I could get some electrics that I manually adjust, I would be better off.

 

Having to reinstall the original? Or just straight removal of blower? Like in that pic from the ad?

 

I agree, in a lame, fake, poor kinda way they make me think of those 5 spoke wheels we like

For a first timer playing it safe and slow I'd guess 3-4 hours? That a safe guess?

 

That's what I told him too but I'm not 100% sure as I haven't had to remove mine

 

There's a bit more to it with all the vacuum lines and the tensioner. Possibly more with a 7th in there

 

What springs did you buy anyway?

 

I've never heard of using the FJ coils on a 3rd gen runner, but its weird that the Moog ones would be larger than the originals, you have em in the right way?

 

Can you give us a link to the Rock parts that you bought?

 

Well used FJ coils should be easy to find, but I would ask them to measure the them and compare to your measurements of the FJ coils

 

Dude I'm old enough to know that it almost always takes about double the amount of time that I originally think it'll take. Or maybe it's some crazy curse I have but I thought that's kinda how it was for most. Maybe it is just me lmao

Engine out of the truck? Shouldn’t take more than an hour really. Just the plenum and some shit for the belt drive

 

The fuel system if modified will add time. As for vacuum lines just grab all you can..
