    Neither. From an independent fabricator here in Denver that I can only assume was put into Witness Protection since he has fallen off the face of the earth. Similar idea to those brands, though.

    No kidding.

    I used to heat with wood exclusively, about 9-10 cords a year.
    Then went to a mix of hard coal and wood when I got the coal burning insert. Maybe 5-6 cords then.

    I went through some chain saws...Homelite, McCullough, Poulan.
    Was always fixing them...junking them...buying new ones.

    Then I got an Echo, and still have it.
    Stihl, Husqvarna, and Echo are the only ones worth having if you need a chain saw to do any serious work.
    They're so worth it, even if they do cost more than 3 times the cheapies. :cool:
