    I was on the way to the shop today and the belt slipped off due to the pulley on the ac compressor being so out of whack. Muscled her to the dealership and they are looking at her now.

    Well gentlemen, after a very long ordeal, the yota seems to be running in tip top shape. The dealership I took her to tried to quote me close to 4k of work but only 800 for the ac. When I called back to authorize payment, the price jumped up to 1400 and I very quickly told them to not touch a damn thing. My dad (who owns a shop back in stl) called one of his buddies who owns a shop and he came the next day and picked the truck up with his personal trailer. She was done the next day with an 800 dollar ticket. No problems since

    I am confused why you spent $800 when the part could have been serviced for $60...

    Maybe the compressor was the reason the clutch went bad. The extra money was worth the piece of mind
