Lol not to beat the dead horse or go off topic but, I'll join the camp of having a little regret getting the OR without 4x4. Only because I get tired of telling people it doesn't have 4x4 not because I need 4x4 haha, rather have the mpgs. I just liked the features better than the sport for the same money such as suspension and bigger tires for our bad roads, rear locker that "might" get me out of a fictional situation that will probably never happen, skid plate for road crap, no front air dam to hit water because of poor drainage here, didn't want the fake hood scoop etc. I've actually debated taking the bed stickers off, I don't know if I get more hell at work for the non 4x4 OR or my choice of color "quicksand." Or as they call it, "baby poop."

Getting a 2WD AC and then having to trade it in a year later for a DCSB 4WD :anonymous:

Right here with ya, I had found a very well kept 2015 OR LB with like 32k miles the day before I bought my 2019 SBOR, dammit dammit dammit.
Guy was pretty reasonable on his price too, believe in was 22.5 he wanted..

Those air damns, most of those will end up in the trash.

Bought a 2nd gen 2WD Sport when I should have bought a 4x4. Took it to the beach twice and got stuck so bad that I decided I should have gone with a 4x4. Went the next day and got an OR 4x4.

Hahah, even if I had a 4x4 OR, I’m sure this picture would have been my “worst decision” with my Tacoma. Hats off to you for doing it. I only regret not taking mine into the mountains more, though I certainly get out pretty often.

That's a stretch into BS territory. Driver skill is most important yes, but a 2wd is not as capable as a 4wd in every situation. I could show you a half dozen trails around here you wouldn't get past the entrance on with a 2wd, I don't care how good of a driver you are.

edit - fell for the troll bait again, figured I'd know better by now

No!... I'd say not getting a 5spd, but I knew that before I chose to get the automatic. I wouldn't really call it a regret.
