what i got i assumed was something one of you guys did; managed to cut out and shape it to what it is today and sent it around town...

so unless the template is based off as per the 2nd gen's rock guards, than i can see that it is in fact Toyota's design.



so if the fella has an issue, i can tell him to suck an egg?

 

I don't think you could claim copyright on something if you're giving it away for free, as well, anyone can use their trucks to obtain measurements so it would be hard to pursue any action albeit it might take some of his business away from us here in Ontario lol

I don’t know. People get weird when you mimic their designs. Look at the whole prisnu thing. Mind you this is for free so shouldn’t be an issue.
