Thanks. It was a fun project for me and the wife. It's very heavy and strong...much more so than the store bought ones we were looking at. Plus, Helena (our black cat) loves to snooze in high places. So it's 6' tall. Much taller than most of the ones we could find. She naps up there daily and sometimes stays the night up there.

Found these little guys on the side of the house today the mom is a feral. I feed her but can't get near her but need to trap her and get her fixed and adopt out these little guys... I am sure when the wife sees them we will keep one as well.

My guess is he's jumping up to that first shelf then pulling himself up the next two to get to the top....can't imaging he's scaling the sides of that thing especially without leaving claw marks

That was how my wife got her cat...mom had a litter outside her old apartment. When the kittens were 4 weeks old my wife found the mom and 2 of the kittens dead in the street, some big car or truck ran them over :( There was one left behind in the bushes without his mom or siblings and only 4 weeks old, so she took him in. He's 9 years old now and pees on our curtains, but he's a lovable guy.

I was thinking he climbs up the blinds, but if he's got any weight on him you'd think it would damage them.

Edit to add: my GF said he's launching off the arm of the sofa - straight to the top. I scoff but she said she had a cat who did something similar. I'll wait until we see the tape.
