I know we have lots of 2wd brothers and sisters here, and i say this with love, but a 2WD wouldn't make it to a trailhead at Wolf Caves

I am in Iowa lol. I doubt it would be cost effective to drive back down there to get them welded

True, would give me an excuse to go back to Hidden Falls to test them out and make sure they work.

 

I'm.gonna keep my mouth closed on this one but find a muffler / tire shop ran by are buddies south the border and they can weld some 3" steel pipes on your front bumper and fab up a grill guard I'm sure they can figure out how to weld sliders on

 

But it won't be strong tubing. Exhaust tubing is thin walled and a lower grade of steel (usually a cheap stainless)

 

No if you take the.sliders to them they can weld them where ever you want

I got my sliders welded on for a quarter and a case of Corona, of which two Mexicans and I killed almost the entire thing while welding them on

You make the slider apart of the frame then nothing can fail if you bolt them on bolts can break
