So, I'm not overly picky about how clean my truck is, but, I wash it at the car wash:anonymous: and it gets white water spots on the windows. Like really noticeable. Don't care much but would like to get them off a couple of times a year. Windex does nothing. They will not come off. My last vehicle was the same way. I use the hard water rinse crap at the carwash, I think it makes it worse. Any hints?

Use Goo Gone and then wash with tap water and car washing soap to get the residue off.

My well water is really hard so I never wash my truck at home. I take it to a car wash that is on city water supply. Then dry it off as quick as possible. I have a water softener for the indoor stuff but not on the outside. A clay bar might take off the spots. I don't see any reason it won't work on glass.

I have nothing to do at work tomorrow. Will prolly leave early.

Unless you're my boss, in which case I have several cost savings ideas that I will try to implement in a timely manner.

That's German for "house". I was using the old west term.

Black. Stick with it. If you want you can return the shell for a tan one. Softopper will do that if it’s brand new still.

I would do a black one. A question I've always wondered is if it could be mounted up and used with my Retrax cover in the stored position? I've never gotten to see one up close. They look nice.
