Not quite as thick as the reinforced knee pants but pretty durable. I didn't think they looked that good in everyone's pics when I bought them, still don't look great but fit good enough to where I never even notice I'm getting in or riding on seat covers.
My dog likes to swim everytime I take her out, they have been great so far. The actual Carhartt logo ones could be thicker but they look just like mine in pics. Either way, I'd buy them again. Another plus is they look like they could be machine washed without a problem.

Yeah.... But you can't beat the fit and finish of OEM.

All car seats have either leather, cloth, etc covering that can be removed and replaced but they are usually attached with upholstery clips and special tools and at least some experience or expertise is needed.

My local upholstery shop wanted $2,200Cdn to recover my cloth front seats with their shop stock black leather. I went with custom fitted leatherette slip over seat covers instead for a third the price, supplied and installed by the upholstery shop. Ordering online and installing myself would, have course, saved me even more $$.

Just detail the seats if you wanted. Then put a good quality cover over them to keep them looking good for years to come!

Did the same on my last Tacoma. I will be adding Bartact to this one next year. Even pet hair and dirt wipes right off. Loved them!

Those look too damn nice, but some people want seat covers to protect their seats.

If I had those I'd have to buy seat covers to cover those to keep them from getting fucked up.

I bought a set of neoprene covers from Real Trucks for around $183.00

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Actually Carhartt says you should wash and dry them BEFORE you put them on. I did and mine fit WAAAAY better than the earlier pics some have shown here. I am sure with this tighter fit they are harder to put on when they are unwashed, but I DID follow their instructions and so I have no comparison.
I have not taken mine off for a second wash -but I still really like them. I use my truck as a "truck" and leather would not be good -- we save that stuff for the wife's Subaru. Leather is nice if that's how you use your truck -- if you want super tough -- the Carhartts are great. Also that other brand looks good as well --Bartack " or whatever

Bartact covers are also machine washable. Sunscreen gets all over everything in Florida. My black factory seats were turning a gross greyish color. Cleaned the seats and put the Bartact on (i got the grey) and they look great. Fit well also. I was trying to get them for a trip to the Keys and the guys were great to work with. Since it wasn't a custom color they had them on the shelf.
