    Why aren't you running even the basic factory skids? Couple of inches to either side and you would have pushed the front diff into your lower block and oil pan.

    Modified the level of gas in the tank
    I agree...I bought an alum front skid off of some asshole, I'll sell evegeny my factory sport skid. I still have front air dam and hardware. 35 cents

    I hit front diff plenty times today, it’s durable and everything still intact :fingerscrossed:

    That was because of his diff drop and skid to accommodate it? Or am I thinking of someone else?

    Yes, the front edge of the diff carrier caught on an obstacle and pushed the diff back. Same thing would happen if you didn't have a diff drop, but ran without skids at all. The clamshell is pretty sturdy, being cast iron, but the frame mounts are not as strong.

    I will admit. If they are not broken, which is few and far between, heeps are great off road.

    My buddies '95 grand cherokee with front and rear auto lockers is only on 31's and its a beast.
