    Working on them
Update on the Terrible two .... been awhile since I uploaded anything on the two, I spotted them hanging out inside escaping the heat outside next to the Air Con vent. They have grown up now and still best friends ever and still tear the house apart when the mood hits (every other day) if not more. and one of them steals my blasted pens all the time I have not yet seen or figured out which one yet but the plastic pens with the rubber like grip on them are a favorite. so here they are having a afternoon nap and come 9 or 10 pm they will be off and out patrolling the back yard.

one cat we had did that when we moved out here to Idaho...we put her in the house and she was gone. looked around the empty house for 10 minutes, I happened to look on top of the cabinet and there she was lurking. She never really jumped on the counters but I guess she took exception this time....LOL

My cousin used to have a giant orange cat that would headbutt doors open in the morning to say 'hi'. If the door striker was actually closed the sound would be threefold, akin to The Terminator taking out that heavy factory door towards the end of the movie.

This is the same cat that disappeared for over two months in my cousin's boston apartment, everyone assumed he snuck out when the door was open. Around two months elapse, and a few friends are in the living room... without warning one of the oversized floor air vents flies up like it was punched out, and this cat same leaps out, looking perfectly fit and oddly irate

Hopefully yours lasts much longer than my cat tree !!!!

Gizmo completely shredded this one side of the tree all the way to the wood pole underneath the carpet .its maybe less than a year old but happy it's the cat tree and not my furniture !!

We go through cat trees pretty quickly with 3 indoor cats in the house. We have 3 at a time and probably replace each one at least once a year, so 6 cat trees per year lol. They scratch the hell out of them, but like you said it's better than them scratching the furniture.

Although our cats still love to scratch the hell out of our carpet in some spots

For two cats , I've got (3) cat trees and (2) scratching posts . I keep them scented with liquid catnip . Keeps them interested in their furniture not mine
