    Just a quick intro
I'm retired Canadian Military Mechanic (22yrs) have in the past always had Toyota's, my last ride was a Dodge ram diesel, owned for nine years, and modified a lot.
went back to Toyota since I opened a garage, last year and its about 8 mins from my house, so using the dodge was too hard on it. sold it to buy a Tacoma
current Toyota is an 05 DC, LB, sport with 306000kms that i bought about 5 weeks ago, since then I've done complete brakes, rear Bilstiens shocks, x2 front wheel bearings, bought but not installed yet the front diff bushing from east coast, 3 inch front/2 inch rear lift.
I bought the truck from a Chev car dealer about 150 miles away, they had booked a frame/spring inspection, sure enough mine failed and Toyota has ordered a frame for it, should be here in a couple months, I think I just got in under the warranty deadline.
last year I bought my son an old 97 4 runner with the 3.4 auto, its got 552,000kms (330000miles??) runs like a top, no leaks, rides awesome.
been looking up info for tacoma for the past month, google always posts this forum, so fiqured id sign up, hope to contribute
    thanks
    Nick
