Couldnt sleep for zhit. As usual...
Went, and banged out some singletrack on the hardtail this morning, then took the 2 teens for a ride to the zoo... I mean Mystic...
Im ready to retire... and spend time doing what I want...... but, I will get bored I am sure.

Only thing I know for sure right now, something has to give.... either I am going to cave, and this place at the first offer, and go home, or I am going to move my inlaws up here..... this is killing me/us.....

Use your bottle jack between the two arms of the LCA, heat the sleeve and clear the area in front of them. They can come out with a good amount of force.

Don't really have much I can say to this, but, would like to offer some encouragement for whatever choice you make. I hope one way or another things work out sooner rather than later and you can lower the stress levels and enjoy your family all together in same place. Good luck!

Eh, nothing to say. I shoudnt have posted it honestly.
Im tired. This is really starting to take its toll on me.
In reality, we are fortunate, that we are in a position to do what needs to be done.

    Thanks.

Morning all... It's been a while. Over in cali again fro work, current rental is a Jeep Wrangler Sahara unlimited... man this thing is barebones - no bluetooth or nothing.....
Trying to do more than 70mph on the highway with this box is harder than my truck with the tent on top of it fully loaded....

Is it really that under-powered? What's it got for an engine, the 4 banger or the v6?

Cut 3 holes for new vents in my shipping container. Used some 2 1/4 by 12 floor vents. Nothing at hardware store had a screen in it for other vents and were too wide to fit in between the ridges. These fit great and I am just going to put some screen behind them for mice. 2 of the 3 vents are on the side of the container about 7 feet up, could mice climb it and even get in them? The other one is on the bottom in the middle of the back side. It also came with 1 smaller vent in each top corner. My friend donated some solar string lights that I will run now that it's opened up as well. Still have to run light strings and seal the edges of the vents, but waiting to cool down a little and the sun to move over the box before I do that.

In talks to get another one, this time a high clearance that's 8' 10" on the inside. This will fit my tractor, and I am going to start getting them both really organized and add shelving etc... Possibly build roof next spring between the two and have a redneck garage. I'm fully embracing the container life, and the wife is willing to tolerate them as well since she cant see them and neither can our guests....being immensely cheaper than any other option works too.

So far pricing is LOWER! than my other one, right now I'm at 2875.00 for a 40 foot HC box dropped in my parking lot. The regular 40 footer was 3009.00, so again it pays to shop around! Got one quote for $3200.

If you want to get fancy, you could look at camper vents (the crank style ones you see on campers and landscape trailers). They have a plastic cover that you can close for the nasty weather and a screen behind them.

Just looked a few up, those would be great most the time, I am worried I would forget and leave them open and get a bunch of rain, but I guess only so much could get in, and it's not like wind blown rain can't get in the ones I have there now....

Might look into it for other one, also lets in more light!
