Your build is looking great. Thanks for driving me around in it.
I bought your BBP Leer Topper a while back if you don't remember me.

I should probably update this thread a bit more, but yes I installed the white lines if that’s what you mean! Also done CV boot rebuild, valve cover gaskets, and a whole bunch of other fun maintenance since I last posted.

No I haven't painted it yet.
Might be selling it and the truck and switching to an FJ.

i could potentially see me putting this mesh on my OG, will need to look into the deets
have you ever removed that plastic drop-in liner? .... it has probably been in there since 1995! ... my plastic liner had been in since 1997 and only removed for the fist time a month or so ago,

yours is not over-the-rail type so its probably not as bad as mine was underneath it all!

i would like to see a black 95.5 SR5 and see what cool bolt stripe pattern its got on the sides, has any TW member presented one for viewing yet that you know of?

the only black 95.5 I have seen so far on TW is a single cab v6 that is so sharp all shinied up

Which plastic drop in liner are you asking about? To do the grill I just broke all the tabs and ordered new ones.

Also, regarding your air circulation question I almost always keep it on outside air unless I’m running the AC. I’ll run circulate.
Pro-tip, about 5 min before you get to your destination turn off the AC and turn back to outside air. Will help keep the stink away

the Toyota plastic bedliner! ... I had an aftermarket over the rail type installed when I bought the truck

yes, i know about the stink lol i always shut the A/C down getting off the freeway and entering stop and go traffic
sounds like I might have something flapping around in the vents where the 'door thing' closes off the outside air and switches to recirc
it only rattles once I hit about 70mph or large wind gusts on the freeway

First post updated! I now know why people reserve posts hahaha, hopefully I can fill the backlog with all the maintenance.

PO of this truck took amazing care of it, although I wish she hadn't botched the electrical so heavily with her aftermarket single din stereo & alarm system. Whoever installed those were complete rookies, and is actually the biggest flaw in the truck.

that’s a dream find! Congrats on it, I really like what you’ve done with it so far, I’ll soon be doing a lot of that same stuff to mine. I tried for about 6 months to find one with a story like yours and ended up getting this beauty. This is my 1995.5 2.7l 4x4
    0118BF2C-1E3F-4B87-9952-AB63E7EDE687.jpg
It had new paint and a straight body, no rust (AZ truck) but I knew it needed a few things.
It had 175k miles on it and unknown maintenance history. Drove it around for a week and the caliper locked up and jammed the wheel due to the top bolt of the caliper walking out.

Glad to see another first gen out there !

Stoptech Cryogenic Rotors & Hawks pads went in Monday. Was probably the last major component on the truck that was unknown regarding service (besides Cats), pads were very worn. Next time around I’ll do new wheels for larger dia. calipers, either cadillac 17s or tundra 16s.

Things running and driving great. LTFT +1 -0, STFT +5 -5. Can’t believe it’s over 24 years old. Almost 129k on the odometer.
