So it's a lazy sunday, about 82 degrees with 56% humidity and I don't have a garage. I'm wanting to maybe repaint my grille and possibly my skid plates. I wont be directly in the sunlight. Yall think it's too hot for the paint to grab? I'd just be using a flat black rattle can. Just trying to be productive today. Thanks guys

Paint the skids first, if it doesn’t work out no big deal they are just skids, easy fix. I’ve painted in shittier/more humid weather in Georgia and not had issues.

Go for it. Ive painted in 100 degree heat with 90% humidity, and 20 degree cold with snow on the ground. Always do a test and adjust your technique as necessary.

Didn't exactly feel like yanking the skid plates off today, that and I forgot to get sanding supplies all I had was scotch bright so I just did the grille.. came out okay I feel like I'm going to have to repaint here pretty quick.

I had a blower motor fan outside with me, helped alot. Also had to make sure there was air flow, that meant I had to open a back door to let air escape. That help too.

Just got done with the front skid plate. Not bad, the black makes those big ole dents noticeable though

I make myself a promise each year when it's colder than sheet in Jan-Feb that I won't complain when it gets hot and humid. I was finishing a 7 mile run this morning about the time you made this post. I came real close to breaking my promise to myself!
