You really are lazy. And you should get out more (like get out of TW and explore the rest of the internet).

Thanks couldn’t find them for sale, do you have a link to that, as well? Joking, but kind of serious, been looking for them online. May have to call around tomorrow.

I'm putting on the AT3 4S soon, anyone running 265/75/16 on a 2015 DCOR? Worried about rubbing...

Or do I need to go down to a 265/70?

Youll be fine as long as you dont have aftermarket wheels with to little backspace. I run the Lt in that size on a 16x8 4.5” backspace wheel and had no rub before my lift. Im not even an OR

Guys, I can't be the only one dealing with the low speed lugging of the AT3 XLTs. The rumble/vibration at low speeds up to around 20-30mph and when braking is driving me crazy. Does anyone else have 285/75R16 AT3 XLTs, and can you confirm this? The tires are smooth above 30mph and highway speeds but they lug at low speeds like a mud tire. I think the aggressive design of the XLT gives the tire mud tire like behavior on the road. I am trying to figure out a way to keep running these because I am starting to look into a tamer all terrain tire.

No issues here, only thing I have noticed is on cold mornings they have a little bit of vibration from what appears to be flat spots but that goes away once I drive a mile or two. . They ride smooth as butter the rest of the time. When was the last time you got an alignment?
    I have 285/75r17 tires.

Alignment is <3 months, was dialed in pretty much perfectly and I've had tires balanced twice to try and smooth these out. I've noticed the flat spotting in mornings as well. I'm going to call cooper. Like I said, the best I can explain is they ride like an aggressive mud tire. Not terrible, just not very smooth like I would expect from an all terrain.

So I run these tires and I do experience a similar kind of issue you mention but I had those symptoms way before the tires.

sounds like your pressures may be a bit too high. do you know? have you done a chalk test? that can help with the lugging possibly if you dial in your pressures. worked for me.

Hi, thanks. I did run a chalk test. The fronts ended up around ~30psi warm and rears ~27psi warm for perfect chalk test. This is below the recommended placard which no tire manufacturer will condone. While it did make the ride smoother and better, it didn't help with the lugging/vibration.

I called Cooper. Since I've had them balanced twice to try and fix this and since they are within the first 2/32 of wear still, they are going to work with me on replacing the tires. I'm very impressed with their customer service.

Cooper has excellent service. their policy is one change from a non-verified fault, so i hope it works out for you.

i have the same pressures by the way, 30f warm & 29r warm. but i am on AT3LT's E range in 265/56+17, which is a seriously firm tire and lugs just from the lack of compliance because the truck is so light that it just doesn't fully flatten the tires into the tarmac. i had this when the tires were new and i ran 32/30psi... dropping down just a couple psi solved it, but it does come back a little when the temps cool down. it's just the nature of firm tires on a light vehicle.

good luck. i actually prefer to feel everything in the truck, so i don't mind it personally. but maybe these are just not for you. report back if you can.

Well I didn't know anything about these tires when I looked them up so I thought I'd look here at TW to see if anyone had an opinion or if anyone was running them. I should really just make TW my home page and come here before I Google anything...ever.

So if you shared your experiences with your tires here this Taco newb says Thank you. After the recommended installer damaged my new Method wheels the installer's insurance company paid $700 in damages to me and Tire Rack refunded the rest of my purchase price...and they didn't want the damaged wheels back. So...since I sold my stock wheels for $400 and a local person wants my lightly damaged Methods with my stock GoodYear rubber for $900, I figured I'd have Tire Rack mount and balance new tires on my new wheels so I wouldn't have to worry about installer damage or incorrect balancing (yeah...they didn't balance my wheels after they damaged them. It was a sh*t show). So, all's well that ends well. And thanks to the feedback in this thread, I'll be running AT3 4S's on my new wheels.

The installer put a 12 inch scratch through the powder coat on each wheel. Either they used the wrong machine or the "tech" wasn't properly trained. Or he just didn't care. My son took it in that day and told me they were going super fast, they were behind schedule and acting like they were trying out for NASCAR.

Cooper authorized tire replacement since tires are within first 2/32. Hopefully the new tires plus America's tires fancy force balancer will do the trick.
